This is a rare find, it’s an original mariner’s outfit made or duck cotton accented with red cotton trim and off-white herring bone trim. It’s two pieces, a sleeveless dress with the jacket that is worn on top. It’s very well made and very sturdy fabric. There is one small stain on the front near the last button that does not distract from the fabulous outfit. The bottom button has been replaced. It measures 15” in length, 14” around the waist, 8.5” across the shoulders (seam to seam) and 5” around the banded cuff opening. It would fit around a 24” doll.
