The woodcutter is dressed in an orange coat trimmed in white, paired with blue trousers and black boots. He wears a matching orange cap and carries his sparce feather tree sprig at his side. His face is wonderful. He has a very nice good quality face that is in excellent condition. With the exception of a small scratch, his hands are also in excellent condition. His candy compartment is clean and structurally sound, and the two halves fit together securely. This is an excellent and well-preserved example of a German folk candy container — both a charming decorative figure and a fine addition to a holiday or early candy container collection.
