This delightful Santa is dressed in an orange coat and hat both dusted with mica to mimic fallen snow.  Under his coat he has on a pair of blue trousers tucked into his black boots. He is holding a sparce feather tree sprig in his hand and on his back rests a woven wicker basket ready to carry the toys he’ll be bring to children.  His face is wonderful with the exception his nose that has been rubbed at the tip, common for an early Santa.   Other than that, he is in overall very good condition.  He has the traditional blue eyes and fur beard.  Standing 10.5 inches tall, he is shown here with a pair of reindeer that will be listed separately.  He is a very nice example of quality craftsmanship and makes a charming addition to any antique Christmas display.
